The seminal NYC graffiti doc has become an underground sensation since its 1983 release, pinpointing the seismic cultural shift in the city's identity and the fledgling 'bombers'' reclamation of public space, especially the subway. Following some of the infamous artists of the early bombing scene and interviewing irate public officials such as the New York mayor and transport management and one young tagger's outspoken mother, the new urban landscape unfolds to outstanding guerilla cinematography and an unforgettable old school hip hop soundtrack.
