Liquid Steel Sessions aka LSS are a soundsystem, DJ & MC collective and pro-audio and events management company specialising in Bass music genres. After forming in 2007, LSS have been a regular fixture on the Sheffield and Leeds underground scene – always pushing new sounds in electronic music ranging from Funky & Dubstep to Garage & House. For over two years, the last Thursday of every month has played host to some of the biggest acts on the bass music circuit including Rinse FM’s The Heatwave and UK Garage legends Sticky & Wookie. Now entering their 3 rd term at Hifi, LSS have stepped up the artist calibre even further with Manchester’s Zed Bias and Hyperdub’s Ill Blu coming this autumn.
